Rose Hip seed oil is derived from the rosa canina rose bush, and has been used since the times of the ancient Egyptians for its nourishing properties. Unlike rose oil which is extracted from rose petals, rosehip oil is pressed from the fruit and seeds of the rose plant. It is loaded with skin nourishing essential fatty acids, vitamins and a powerful source of antioxidants. It is best for balancing.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Rose Hip seed oil can be used often—if you are truly indulgent, you can use them in the morning, at night, and in the day for a little “mid-day” glow. Use them alone or in combination with your Nuka Moisturizer or Rich Antioxidant Moisturizer.
TO USE ALONE
Apply in the morning and night, just after cleansing. Place 1-2 drops in palms, rub together, and pat onto face. Repeat on neckline and neck, applying with upwards strokes. If you wear makeup, wait one minute for the oil to absorb completely into your skin, and then apply makeup as usual.
TO USE IN COMBINATION WITH CREAM
In your palm, mix one drop of rose hip seed oil with a dime-sized of your favorite cream. Rub palms together, and pat moisture mix onto face.
If you are using rosehip seed oil to treat dark spots or acne scars, simply get a drop of rosehip oil on your clean index finger and then rub it on the areas of concern. Or you can use a Q-tip.
